Safety Certificate in Ontario is provided in two copies, one blue and one yellow. When you sell your car in Ontario you need to provide blue copy of Safety Certification to buyer, yellow copy is yours to keep for your own records.
While providing a safety certification sounds like an expensive hassle (and might be), you will sell your car far easier and faster than without it or “AS IS”.
Safety certification confirms a car is safe to drive and basic safety features (brakes, tires, lighting, seat belts, suspension or body of the car) are all operational and safe.
