How to Replace Chevrolet Cruze Air Vents. One of the vents broke internally, got stuck and stopped moving.
Front vent plate is a clip in type. There are no screws or bolts and is held in place by 7 clips.
There are 2 clips per side on top, as per picture above and another 3 clips on the bottom, see red arrows.
Picture below shows how it looks removed, it gives you a better idea where clips are located (red arrows). There are four clips on top (two per side) and three clips at the bottom of center dashboard.

Replace Chevrolet Cruze Air Vents
Start at the bottom corner of console cover plate. Place a screwdriver between dashboard and plate, pry it out carefully and unclip it. It will require some reasonable force but will come out eventually.
Detach remaining bottom clips until bottom of vent plate part is completely free.
Once is released from all clips, pull on it and should pop up easily. Just be careful and don’t put too much force to it, clips are plastic and break easily.
That’s how lower clips look like upon removal.

How to Replace Chevrolet Cruze Air Vents
Its straightforward and quite easy. Align all clips to dashboard holes and push the plate until clips are fastened. Push the top clips in then continue to install bottom clips, and its done.
