How to Fix Toyota Corolla Misfire Trouble Code P0352: 2015 Toyota Corolla, 4 cylinder 1.8 liter engine. Vehicle is experiencing misfire with engine vibrations at idle and loss of power. Diagnostic trouble code is P0352 and indicates ignition coil number two has failed. Ignition coils are numbered from left to right, one to four.

Old or bad spark plugs will shorten ignition coil lifespan. Old spark plugs create higher resistance pushing ignition coil to work at full capacity all the time, causing overheating and premature wear of ignition coil.
How to Remove Corolla Ignition Coil
Remove engine plastic cover by lifting it up, there no screws or bolts. Remove ignition coil electrical plug connector. Press center safety tab and pull connector to disconnect it. If connector plug is seized, use a flat screwdriver between electrical connector plug and ignition coil body to pry it out.
Remove ignition coil 10mm bolt and pull out ignition coil. New Toyota Corolla ignition coils costs about $40 each.

Install new ignition coil and 10mm bolt. Plug ignition coil electrical connector and install engine plastic cover.
Clean trouble codes, start the car and leave it run for few minutes to check engine operation.
