How to Replace Hyundai Tucson Key Fob Battery
If your Hyundai Tucson key fob is working intermittently or not working at all then chances are battery has failed and need to be replaced. Also, you might get a warning on your dashboard that key fob battery is low.
You do not need any tools to replace Hyundai Tucson key battery. Key fob is designed to be user friendly and is very easy to replace battery.
Battery type is generic, CR 2032. However, you better a bit more and buy a higher quality battery, cheap ones do not last long and you will have to replace it quite often, not worth it.
Step One: Remove key blade from key fob housing. Press on release button and pull key blade out (image below).
Step Two: Key fob housing has a disassemble slot. Slot is located on upper part of key fob close to release button, its very obvious (image below).
Insert key blade on release slot and pry open key fob housing. Twist key blade to one side until you key fob housing is split in two halves.
Battery is a slide in type. Use key blade to slide battery out of its place. Slide in a new battery. Make sure to notice battery polarity, positive (+) side is up. As we already said, battery type is CR 2032 3 volts.

Step Three: Reassemble key fob back together. Place electronic circuit on key fob housing and align key fob halves together. Press firmly key fob covers until fully closed. Insert key blade back into key fob housing.
Check operation by pressing lock/unlock.
